As with many of you, I attended EAA AirVenture 2017 this past week in Oshkosh. Saturday’s weather was absolutely perfect for the show.
I had the opportunity to gawk at a tremendous amount of the various aircraft manufactures and I enjoyed viewing the new aircraft ranging from home-built aircraft to personal jets. The static warbird aircraft and military aircraft were favorites of mine.
It was great seeing such a large variety of vendors. They were selling everything from t-shirts to aviation themed jewelry to and any type of aviation products and knick knacks known to man.
Some of the best show memories happened while spending time with fellow aviators at the EAA Aviators Club, sponsored by Shell Aviation. The welcomed air conditioned environment on the Flightline provided food, refreshments and an outside portion with incredible viewing of the air show. It was the perfect spot to be thrilled with the precision of the Blue Angels.
Whether you attended the many seminars participated in the Cockpit Weather Display Training, viewed the interesting aircraft or were amazed by the spectacular air show, I hope you enjoyed your time at EAA AirVenture 2017 and I look forward to seeing you there next year!
